Just about everything went south for The Road Warriors in 1992, save for Hawk himself who went East following a post-SummerSlam 1992 blow-up with Vince McMahon that even briefly severed his ties with longstanding partner Animal.

After having their titles taken in a phantom change against Money Inc shortly before WrestleMania, L.O.D's focus was supposedly renewed by a reunion with old manager Paul Ellering, but the relationship went absurd in almost record time after Ellering and the pair were seen searching the streets for "childhood friend" and ventriloquist's dummy Rocco.

Once considered the toughest tag team in all of wrestling, Vince McMahon's merchandise machine had reduced them to literal toy-flogging parodies. Ellering's act is a sight to behold too, offering words of wisdom through the dummy's mouth as the camera zooms in as tightly as possible.

Like much about 1992, Hawk and Animal remain in a constant state of flux thanks to a bizarre "Legion Of Sissies" rivalry with The Beverly Brothers and a resolute failure to reclaim their lost tag straps. Much like the other notable Warrior on the show, their misadventures are completely unmissable.
