Marty Jannetty's exit from the organisation earlier that year was peak-Jannetty.

The ex-Rocker was on the precipice of a WrestleMania singles match with ex-partner Shawn Michaels following their iconic Barber Shop break-up before some of the very real outside-the-ring proclivities that split the team up in the first place came back to haunt him before the 'Show Of Shows'.

Party Marty was released after some murky gossip about his dating life did the rounds and attacking a police officer, but the six months house arrest were woven into the angle when he made an utterly sublime return to television on the October 31st edition of the show.

Shot magnificently, Marty's arrival is spotted first by the crowd, then my the announcers and last of all by Michaels himself as he poses and preens in a mirror held by main squeeze Sensational Sherri.

Frozen in fear as if Jannetty had risen from the dead like his career actually had, Michaels took an utter pasting before chucking poor Sherri in the way of a wildly-swung mirror and heading for the hills.

Though understandably not held in as high a regard as the original, it was a visually-splendiferous sequel to Michaels' legendary turn.
