3. Who Can I Wrestle?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSRyY4IM8y4 After Funk was (kayfabe) blinded by Jerry Lawler in a legendary empty arena match, he showed up at a TV taping to, uh, discuss this with the King. When told that Lawler was out of state and unavailable to be maimed on television, Terry interfered in a nearby jobber match and brutally beats up all four men while squealing like an injured hog. Having proved something, surely, Funk launches into a screaming, wheezing, gem of an interview. He rants about a perceived airline industry conspiracy that flew Lawler out of Tennessee KNOWING Funk wanted to beat him up, about how he was going to permanently move to Memphis to better exact revenge, and finishes by smashing his own face with a chair. Despite Terry somehow turning the phrase this is good horse country into a terrifying threat, the high point of the segment is interviewer Lance Russell, who spends the entire time testily telling Funk to cut it out like he was a child throwing a tantrum and not a fully grown murder cowboy. I think Gorilla Monsoon put more effort into objecting to Bobby Heenans jokes. Funkism: "Wheeeee! WHEEEEEE!"
