10 Amazing Wrestler Team-Ups That Ended Way Too Early

3. Ultimate Warrior And Randy Savage

When the Macho Man passed away in 2011, the Ultimate Warrior reminisced about his former friend in a long, heartfelt video blog. He mentioned various highlights of their careers, feuds and matches and specifically mentioned their abbreviated team-up angle. Flash back to the WWE in 1992, Savage and Warrior were in the embryonic stages of a babyface team-up that would seem to echo the Mega Powers alliance of Savage and Hogan (but with way more yelling, neon and custom sunglasses). Savage and Warrior had put their previous retirement feud behind them and were united as the Ultimate Maniacs against the formidable duo of Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. This didn€™t seem like a short-term alliance, either. No way. These guys decked themselves out in color coordinated outfits, custom logos and don€™t even get me started on how awesome (hilarious) their joint promos were for the team. The fledgling team went into action against the Nasty Boys and Money, Inc leading up to a main event showdown against Flair/Ramon at Survivor Series. One Irish Goodbye a week before the event from Warrior left us with Mr. Perfect being a capable, yet ultimately disappointing replacement for the big showdown. Further imagine this team continuing after the Survivor Series to face off against the WWE€™s upcoming New Generation of rising stars and you end up with a team-up that ended far too prematurely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=017xySlrTok
