Within 10 years of this match taking place, all three men would be WWE Champion. However, where they where in regards to both their personal and professional lives, you'd never have imagined that at the time.

Eddie Guerrero was in the midst of his brief period of absence from the company, having been released for drunk-driving the year prior; Mysterio, astonishingly not performing in a mask during this match, was mere months away from signing with the company; and at the time there can have been fewer wrestlers in North America less likely to make it in Vince's house of horrors than Centimeter Punk.

Given the caliber of the men involved, this triple-threat match had the IWA Mid South crowd in a state of disbelief from the get-go. High-energy, athletic action from ever combination of the competitors, with jaw-dropping chain wrestling and double-team moves barely giving you time to catch your breath.

The match exists now in sporadically uploaded/taken down YouTube clips, but if you do catch it anywhere do yourself a favour and give it a watch. It's three of the best ever, all holding nothing back.
