In a piece of surprisingly subtle seed-planting, WWE's recent Clash at the Castle PLE came equipped with the brief reminder about half an hour into the event that none other than British boxing titan Tyson Fury was very much present at ringside.

And while many understandably expected Fury to make his presence known in some fashion at another point in the evening, with the champ being spotted chatting to both Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre backstage at various points, the way WWE managed to infuse the Heavyweight World Champion into the madness was about as unpredictable as it gets.

Once again teasing a scenario where The Tribal Chief could've been relieved of his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship without actually having to eat a pin-fall or submission, Austin Theory's music dramatically hit as both titans lay battered in the middle of the ring.

The pop was real.

But it paled in comparison to the one that met the sound of Fury's fist colliding with the youngster's head as he once again failed to cash in his MITB contract.

Theory getting shockingly KO'd by The Gypsy King was the gift fans simply didn't know they needed... until it happened.
