10. New Day Breaks New Ground

The New Day are easily one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history, having captured 10 tag titles during their decade-plus run with the company, adding their latest hardware to the trophy case at WrestleMania 41.

But Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods did something this past weekend that the New Day (in any iteration) had never done before: they won a tag match (standard or six-man) at WrestleMania.

Shockingly, the New Day had been 0-6 in tag matches at the big show, including pre-show matches. Along the way, they’ve lost to Tyson Kidd & Cesaro, the League of Nations, Bludgeon Brothers, AJ Styles & Omos, the Brawling Brutes, and A-Town Down Under and the Awesome Truth in last year’s ladder match.

Kofi and Xavier broke that dubious streak Saturday when they defeated the War Raiders to capture the World Tag Team Championship. That it took this long for the celebrated New Day to win a tag match at WrestleMania is borderline criminal.
