10 Angriest Wrestling Crowds Ever
2. Riot In Little Rock
Sure, fans at One Night Stand 2006 talked the talk, but they didn't actually come good on their promise of a riot - unlike, say, the crowd that descended on Little Rock, Arkansas, for a WWE house show in December 1997.
Pro Wrestling Stories provides a detailed account on exactly what happened on that night during the company's Attitude Era hey-day, where a modest security detail were overwhelmed by a rowdy thousand-strong group of chair-wielding maniacs.
Apart from a great many of them being catastrophically drunk - there were also reports of empty Jack Daniels bottles being thrown into the ring (empty being the operative word) - this is blamed primarily on the fact that some fans simply didn't know they had paid for a house show.
Instead, they thought they were attending an episode of Raw - on account of it taking place on a Monday night. As the evening progressed, however, it dawned on them that the company had already pre-taped that week's broadcast, with the event they had parted with their hard-earned cash for little more than a middle-of-the-road tour date.
