10 Arguments WWE Fans Will Probably Never Stop Debating

6. Should We Indulge Nostalgia Acts?

This is the one that is damn near impossible to figure out, mostly because the typical fan can't really decide on this within themselves. Sure, we dream up fantasy matches in our heads and wish, for example, that the WWE had given us Hulk Hogan Vs. Ric Flair at WrestleMania VIII. But once WCW went ahead and booked it however many odd years later, were we really satisfied?

Here is perhaps a better example. Remember that thrill you got when you heard DX was reforming? It doesn't matter which time, because you know that even the 2009 and 2013 reformations got your hearts all aflutter for a brief moment.

Well, remember how disappointed you eventually became every single time because it didn't live up to your expectations? That's what happens with nostalgia acts. We can't stop talking about how we wish they'd bring back this or that, because surely that would save the current iteration of the product.

And then we get exactly that...and we can't stop griping about it. Yeah, it's not as good as it was last time around, because it can't be. And it has nothing to do with the new limitations of the programming.

You simply can't catch lightning in a bottle twice.
