7. Was Trish Stratus The Greatest Women's Champion?
There's no shortage of superstars that are constantly being called overrated. A bettin' man would say that you already have anywhere from five to ten names floating around in your head besides the one listed in the title. But when discussing the greatest Women's Champions of all time, Trish Stratus' name gets brought up a lot.
Almost as much as it does when people discuss the most overrated Women's Champions of all time.
Stratus was far from perfect in the ring, though most fans will at least agree that she came a long way from her clumsy beginnings as a competitor. That's pretty much where the agreement ends, though. Trish Stratus is a divisive lady.
In terms of pure athleticism, Trish seems to rank just below the top tier. Lita, Molly Holly, Mickie James, and Alundra Blayze would probably rank above her in that regard. For mic skills, she likely ranks below Sunny, Ivory, Stephanie McMahon, and Chyna.
But in terms of having "the whole package," Stratus would seem to be one of the best all-around Women's Champions the WWE has had in recent times. Or does it just appear that way because she was a big-breasted blonde with major flexibility and some good storylines to work with?
There will never be a consensus.
