10 Attitude Era Elements WWE Must Copy Today

5. Reintroduce Organic Promos

The overly-produced nature of the current WWE product has left fans exposed to inorganic promos that sound far too overproduced to be taken seriously.

The words coming out of the mouths of the company's top superstars rarely match their personalities and the result is a show in which everyone sounds exactly the same. They are well-rehearsed and, more times than not, fail to connect with audiences as a result.

During the height of the Attitude Era, fans could pick and choose their favorite wrestlers as much for their performances on the microphone as anything they did in the ring.

That was where the personalities of the men and women on the show shined through, where they could connect with the fans in the stands and enjoy the unmatched popularity that they would ultimately find.

Injecting a little of that spontaneity to the shows, and allowing the performers to sink or swim based on how they could convince audiences to buy into them, would help the current broadcasts resemble the Attitude Era a bit more than they currently do.
