That former Truth Commission man Recon debuted his Bull Buchanan persona on a C-show (Sunday Night Heat) didn't bode well for the character's long-term prospects, but he mustered a six-year WWE run, stretching from 1997 to 2003.

His team with the Big Boss Man came together in March 2000. Decked out in SWAT attire similar to his crooked cop partner, he assisted the former Big Bubba by attacking Mideon. They started teaming immediately after, and became a steady TV presence, even scoring a win at WrestleMania 2000, though they never came close to winning the gold.

The duo were dissolved just a few months after uniting, with Boss Man accidentally cracking Bull with his nightstick following a Raw match with the Hardy Boyz. Boss Man shuffled back to Heat and Jakked thereafter. Buchanan, meanwhile, settled into a solid role as the Right to Censor's enforcer, and held tag gold with The Goodfather for a while, before being shunted back to development following the group's split. He'd return to television as John Cena's sidekick, B-2, in August 2002, but was gone from the company five months later.
