6. X-Pac vs. D'Lo Brown (1998)

Another one of those situations where two wrestlers who have great matches for the sake of great matches get together with a title (the European Championship in this case) on the line, D'Lo Brown elevated himself in WWE from being a hanger-on in The Nation to being a midcarder with main event potential with the aid of the always excellent X-Pac. The in-ring chemistry is of particular note here, both Brown and Pac finding that special place wherein they're comfortable with each other and having great matches without likely having to do much in the way of planning backstage. When that occurs, the fans are the true winners.
