10 Awesome 90s Wrestling Feuds You Totally Forgot About

7. Al Snow vs. Mankind (1999)

Al Snow deserves a gold medal from the wrestling business for putting up with Mick Foley's incessant joking about his perpetually mid-card WWE career. It's a mean rib on the surface, but beneath it, when Foley got over, Snow got over too, just from being associated with the rising-to-superstar status veteran. However, by 1999, Mankind's stardom had expanded to a place where the idea that Snow himself could get over by taking umbrage with Foley's quips actually existed. Thus, as a part of the promotional push of Foley's book Have a Nice Day, Snow turned heel by suggesting that Foley's friend The Rock had thrown away a copy of his book, when in fact it was a jealous and angry Snow who had done the deed. From an in-ring standpoint, this feud wasn't exactly mind-blowing, but from a promo standpoint, it's one of the more sensical feuds in WWE history.
