10 Awesome (But Short-Lived) WWE Theme Songs

7. Sheepherder (Erick Rowan)

In 2014, WWE decided to split up the Wyatt Family because... reasons?

Upon the split, Luke Harper won the Intercontinental Championship almost instantaneously, while Erick Rowan floundered as a babyface. He also adopted a new entrance theme, which was among the last ones composed by the legendary Jim Johnston prior to his release.

Now, this theme isn't necessarily a great "pro-wrestling theme song," but that's part of its charm. It's unlike any other song that a WWE wrestler has ever used, and it's ominous and mysterious enough to fit him well. Also, it sounds like something you'd hear in a Spyro The Dragon game, so that earns it a lot of brownie points from me.

Of course, WWE didn't give us a whole lot of reasons to care about Rowan as a babyface, so it was always awkward to hear virtually no cheers accompany it. Seeing the writing on the wall, Rowan was paired back with Harper in 2015, and we never heard this song again.
