There was a time when a wrestler's entrance video was one of the coolest things about them. These edited visual packages were an awesome way to show off a performer's gimmick, skills, and personality. However, the entrance video is now a relic of the past.

While every wrestler used to get one of these unique videos put together to compliment their entrances to the ring, the vast majority of them nowadays don't. It's standard practice now to instead feature a static image of their name, logo, or a catchphrase during their walk down the ramp instead of a cleverly thought-out montage.

This was a gradual thing that many fans might not have even noticed, as some performers (such as Kevin Owens) still have glimpses of the classic wrestling staple in their entrance. However, this is very much the exception now, as almost all new wrestlers come to the ring with bland, mundane Titantron images.

Some have predicted that this, alongside the major loss of pyro, is a cost-cutting technique taken by the company. That could be the case, but it has definitely stripped a lot of personality away from the promotion and the wrestlers.
