10 Awesome Moments From WCPW Loaded Episode 2

1. Jay Lethal Endorses El Ligero For An ROH Title Shot

El Ligero Jay Lethal WCPW
The Ringside Perspective/WCPW

After all the great spots, like Lethal consistently hauling Ligero back up into a suplex spot despite some stiff knees, the match was a success. In storyline, that can't be said for the masked man, who would have received a shot at the ROH World Title had the pesky presence of Martin Kirby not ruined things for him.

Kirby's interference prevented Ligero from perhaps beating Lethal and getting a crack at the title. After the match, a gracious champion acknowledged how hard El Ligero had fought, calling him one of the best and stating that - without doubt - he would receive that elusive ROH World Championship match at some point in the future.

This was powerful stuff, contrasting nicely with some comedic moments in the bout. For example, Lethal reverted to his old 'Black Machismo' character briefly, clearly enjoying the interaction with fans around ringside.

When push came to the shove, he was all business, complimentary even though he didn't really need to be. It'll be incredible when Ligero finally does get that shot at the gold, especially if this match was anything to go by.
