10 Awesome Moments From WCPW Loaded Episode 2
9. The Primate Destroys Drake
There's a real 'beauty and beast' vibe to the business relationship between The Primate and Suzie. Before the match had even started, the manageress snatched the microphone from the ring announcer and decided to introduce her man personally. After he had dispatched Drake, she was similarly boisterous.
We're just two episodes in, and it's already becoming clear who is a force to be reckoned with in WCPW. The Primate is a classic example of that hard-hitting style from the NWA of the 1980's, like Road Warrior Hawk in terms of his unashamed raw power and animal intensity.
Drake is clearly no slouch, he held his own against this new force for as long as could. Eventually, Primate managed to wear his rival down though, marching forward with a first win in the new company. Big things are expected from Primate, it seems Suzie chose well.
It was fabulous to see two pitbulls butting heads (quite literally at times) in this opening match, and even more satisfying to see The Primate come out on top at the end.
