10 Awesome One-Time WWE Champions
5. Diesel
Granted, Diesel - aka Kevin Nash - was not without one or two flaws. He wasn't particularly accomplished in the ring, for a start, and in the years since hanging up his boots he's become a smug know-it-all who makes a point of crapping on anyone under six-foot-six.
We can't judge wrestlers by their personalities alone, though. If we did, we'd have to dismiss the accomplishments of Hulk Hogan and CM Punk - and where would that leave us? John Cena would be the best of all-time.
As for the point about his limited technical ability, that's undeniable, but so too is the fact that his best work came during his near-400 day run with the belt between 1994 and 1995, during which he shared great matches with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.
Moreover, there's a good chance he would have won the belt again had he not jumped ship to WCW midway through the following year. Like him or not, he was a pretty big star in his day, and held his own during the testing pre-Attitude Era years.
