10 Awesome Things Happening In WWE Right Now
4. The Fashion Police Are A Riot
The latest edition of the Fashion Files - Breezango's hugely entertaining skits, an oxymoronic Zoolander-meets-noir genre mash-up - was probably the best yet.
Incongruously, there was a picture of Billy Kidman, circa 2000, posted on the evidence board, captioned "Here's looking at you, Kid...Man." Next to that was a picture of The Usos, underneath which was a fabulous insider pun ("Anoa'ing"). The stills of Michael Hayes, "repeat offender," were a nice dose of catharsis for those who predisposed to thinking he's a piece of sh*t. If only WWE would allow Breezango to go full Mystery Science Theater on Freebird Road. The Festival of Friendship might have competition for segment of the year.
"It was a slow night...in Rochesterrrrrrr," Breeze started, drawing out the last consonant to wonderfully sleazy effect. The Colon/cologne wordplay was a bit lame, but Fandango redeemed it all by throwing the New Day's bribe onto the floor repeatedly, as if stuck in a loop.
WWE has long since been criticised, and rightfully so, for their inability to create memorable, entertaining, over-the-top characters. They should receive more credit for this Breezango business, because it is a total riot. Better yet, Breezango have a storyline reason to go after essentially any act on the roster.
Unlike the Fandangoing craze, this thing has legs.
