1. Chris Jericho And Steve Austin
Stick Chris Jericho in the ring with almost anybody else, and there was a good chance the match would be highly enjoyable. Similarly, Steve Austin could put together a gripping brawl with pretty much any wrestler worth their salt. Why then did the combination of Jericho and Austin fail to really excite? The answer would appear to be that some wrestlers just don't have a good level of chemistry, and that's a fair statement when it comes to this particular pairing. At the Vengeance 2001 pay-per-view, Jericho was ready to become the first ever Undisputed WWF Champion, defeating both The Rock and 'Stone Cold' in the same evening. Whilst his bout against Rocky was fast-paced and had fans in raptures, the Canadian's display against Austin in the main event lacked coordination. Years later on his podcast, Austin would state that the match was far from his greatest performance. It appears he and Jericho just didn't gel well inside the ring, which is fairly surprising considering Austin worked wonders with similar grapplers like Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. What other awesome wrestling combinations can you think of that didn't have great chemistry? Do you agree with the ones listed here? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below!
