10 Awesome Wrestlers Who Had No Chemistry Together
10. Bill Goldberg And Anyone In WWE
Admittedly, this is quite a unique way to start such a list, because it doesn't only relate to two wrestlers. By his own admission, Bill Goldberg didn't really fit into the WWE way of doing things. The former WCW World Champion never really looked comfortable in the company, and he therefore struggled to really excel the way he had in Atlanta. His first match was a disjointed affair against The Rock at Backlash 2003. From there, Goldberg contested average bouts against everyone from Chris Jericho to Brock Lesnar. Infamously, his match against Lesnar at WrestleMania XX was overshadowed by fan response. Aware both participants were departing WWE, the live crowd mercilessly taunted them. The bulk of Goldberg's WWE stint was made up of matches against Triple H during the Summer and Autumn months of 2003. Hardly any of them were worthwhile, especially the one-on-one contests. Fans had been crying out to see someone like Goldberg in WWE, and there was excitement over his arrival. That softened when it became clear he was an ill-fit for the company.
