10 Awesome Wrestlers Who Had No Chemistry Together
6. Matt Hardy And Jeff Hardy
Edge and Christian may have been storyline siblings, but they still know one another better than most real brothers. Best friends since childhood, they failed to set the world on fire with their meetings. In similar fashion, a pair of real-life brothers didn't electrify when they faced off either. Matt and Jeff Hardy should have definitely had much better matches together than they did. In early-2009, Matt turned heel on Jeff for the purpose of setting up a match at WrestleMania XXV. At the time, fans were excited about the prospect of seeing the Hardy brothers face off, because it would surely be quite the spectacle. After all, they had been 'working' against one another since they were children, dreaming of some day becoming wrestlers and meeting at 'Mania. The resultant 'Extreme Rules' bout wasn't a major highlight of WrestleMania. At Backlash the next month, they also contested an average 'I Quit' affair. It's baffling that Matt and Jeff didn't exhibit better chemistry, because they should know how to get the best from one another. Perhaps they simply froze on the big stage.
