5. Kaitlyn

Talk about someone who came, saw, conquered and subsequently left.

Kaitlyn was only part of WWE for roughly four years, but in that time she got over with the fans, won the third season of NXT and became the Divas Champion, holding the belt for 153 days. Despite this success, she left the promotion in 2014 to retire from wrestling and pursue other avenues.

The early days of NXT were a far cry from the successful brand that it has become today, yet it did produce some promising wrestlers, and Kaitlyn was one of the most memorable. Fans really got behind this performer, as Kaitlyn had a great look that contrasted the rest of the women's division and she had a devastating spear that outclassed many of her peers' finishing moves at the time.

After she chose to leave WWE and retire from in-ring work, she returned for one-off appearances on the independent circuit, and even re-joined WWE for a short spell as part of the 2018 Mae Young Classic, defeating Kavita Devi before losing to Mia Yim.

Seeing her back in the ring was a testament to how much fans could have had if she'd stuck around longer, as the women's division is so much stronger now, and seeing Kaitlyn become a part of it would have been amazing.
