10 Awesome Wrestlers With Terrible Finishing Moves
6. Rey Mysterio (619)
Rey Mysterio has defied the odds to make a big success of himself in the upper echelons of professional wrestling, despite his extremely diminutive stature. Billed at just 5' 6" tall (some believe he's actually even shorter), Mysterio is a two-time World Heavyweight Champions and a one-time WWE Champion. Being the size he is, his move-set is all about flying high and moving fast, which is very exciting and entertaining, but his finishing move is extremely contrived and low impact. The 619 sees Mysterio conveniently positioning his opponent in a manner that means they are resting on the middle ring rope - and in a condition that renders them unable to move, apparently. He then runs towards them, uses the top and middle ropes for leverage and spins towards them, kicking them in the face. It never connects well and requires such an unlikely series of events to set it up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiaYoFt-BJE
