10 Awesome Wrestlers WWE Totally Slept On

6. Marcus Cor Von

Marcus Cor Von was better known by his real name Monty Brown, a moniker he went by during his memorable TNA run.

Brown was an All-American American football linebacker with a stunning physique and impressive combination of power and speed, which added to his eccentric mic skills should've made him a force to be reckoned with in WWE.

But after signing with WWE in 2006, Brown was left to flounder in the rebooted ECW brand with a terrible name in an awful stable, The New Breed, where he was scarcely above jobber status.

Brown's WWE career was ultimately cut short by tragedy, as less than six months after making his TV debut, his sister passed away and he took several months off to look after her children.

Brown never returned to WWE and was released a few months later, after which he retired from active competition. He now works as a personal trainer.

Obviously there's no accounting for tragic circumstances like these, but nobody can say how things might've turned out if WWE had given Brown the spot he deserved upon making his debut.
