10 Awesome Wrestling Moves WWE Must Bring Back In 2016

2. Curb Stomp

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7-0i0yeX8k I'm still not entirely sure why this move has been banned. Okay, the name isn't the most politically correct, and in theory it is an incredible devastating move. The variation used by Seth Rollins is the safer however, giving the victim plenty of time and space to cushion the blow as much as possible. Still, it is perceptually an incredibly violent move, and an incredibly simple one at that. Much like Randy Orton and the punt, children attempting to re-enact this move on the playground only need a foot, a skull and not much else, and the damage can be truly serious. Without the Curb stomp, Rollins' already neutered character lost extra steam. He would go on to use the Pedigree as a finisher, and whilst this made sense from a character perspective it just added weight to the idea that Rollins was not his own man, that he was merely a paper champion company stooge. When he returns in 2016, Rollins must bring his old finishing move back with him.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
