10 Awesome Wrestling Moves WWE Must Bring Back In 2016

1. Go To Sleep

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gs6_-g1h0s4 Here is something that I guarantee will happen in 2016: Hideo Itami will return, he will hit the Go to Sleep, and whichever crowd sees it for the first time will collectively lose their minds. Every single time the Japanese superstar has even hinted that the move could be hit, the anticipation from the crowd has gone through the roof. WWE doesn't exactly want 'CM Punk' chants to fill arenas again, but eventually the company will have to move on from the Straight Edge Superstar and hope the audience does the same. Itami hit the move once in 2015 at a house show around WrestleMania time, and the crowd went bonkers. Itami is the inventor of the move as well, so restricting him from using it makes little sense. Again, the chant before he did so wasn't 'CM Punk' but rather 'GTS', showing that the crowd (the NXT crowd in particular) are educated enough to attribute the move to its creator. Out of all the moves on the list, the removal of the Go to Sleep from WWE has purely been a personal, petty move. In 2016 it will return, and it'll help establish Hideo Itami as a major player on the big stage.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
