10 Awesome Wrestling Moves WWE Must Bring Back In 2016

6. Steenalizer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8RjsRG_TBA Another move we are yet to see in WWE, this is somewhat less likely to appear on our screens than the UFO but it would undoubtedly get a huge reaction if it did make an appearance. Kevin Owens has made serious waves since arriving on the WWE scene in 2015, and only a miserable pessimist would foresee anything less than a stellar 2016 in his future. Owens has been using the pop-up powerbomb as a finishing move, and whilst it has been fairly well protected to this point there is a feeling that he needs something in reserve for the biggest stage, something to bust out when his pop-up can't get the job done. The Steenalizer may just be that move. This unique manoeuvre is a package fallaway powerbomb, not too different to a hybrid of Samoa Joe's musclebuster and JBL's fallaway slam. Owens often performed it into the turnbuckles on the independent scene, and whilst that may be a step too far for WWE, the more traditional version will do just fine.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
