Credit where credit is due, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns put on a worthy main event at Fast Lane. The beauty of the WWE Network is that things can move a little more slowly, giving matches such as this room to breathe. Historically, Reigns vs. Bryan for the #1 Contendership at Wrestlemania would have been a secondary main event, not headlining the entire Pay-Per-View, but it very much grabbed the spotlight here. It seemed that fans were surprised by the quality of Roman's performance, and this match did a hell of a lot more for the idea of him headlining Wrestlemania than the Royal Rumble did. Obviously, facing a wrestler with the capability of Bryan didn't hurt, but Reigns more than held his own here. As a result, both guys tore the house down throughout their encounter, and there weren't even too many boos once Reigns had his hand raised in victory. The way the Rumble was booked left a lot to be desired, but WWE's writers got it spot on here.
