10 Awesome WWE Gimmicks That Were Dropped Way Too Soon

8. The Big E, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston Stable

Earlier this summer, it looked like there would be a new stable on WWE programming with the trio of Big E, Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston teaming up. Woods was put in a managerial role as he told Big E & Kingston that he was sick of seeing them being held down. Fans on the internet were excited about it because they're three of the most talented guys in WWE with a good mix of talent. We all figured it was the start of a stable where it would be the three of them, possibly with a veteran addition like Mark Henry, which would be like a new Nation of Domination. Even if it wasn't an "us against them" kind of group, it still would have worked well. Now we're in November and still waiting to see what happens with them. It's probably not going to be anything at all. The three guys have mentioned possible names for the trio as Smart Athletic Friends or Speed Force although those could have just been joke names. It just shows that WWE's booking these days is really poor. Why have them tease being a stable and then drop it within a couple of weeks? They really could have had success as a group if only they were given a shot.
