10 Awesome WWE Gimmicks That Were Dropped Way Too Soon

6. The Brian Kendrick

Brian Kendrick was always one of the most talented performers in WWE when he was part of the company in the mid to late 2000s. He was most known for teaming with Paul London from 2005 to 2008. They split in 2008 with Kendrick going to Smackdown while London was on Raw. They split because management had a plan for Kendrick. He was going to become this eccentric, egomaniac character named "The Brian Kendrick" that walked a unique way, talked a different way and just carried himself like he was the most important guy out there. That gimmick even led to him being a part of a WWE Championship Scramble Match at the Unforgiven 2008 PPV. It actually said he was the WWE Champion in that match although only the winner of it was recognized and it wasn't him. He was also paired with Ezekiel Jackson, who served as his huge bodyguard. That kind of thing wasn't new in WWE since they always put smaller guys with big bodyguards. They probably could have had success if they were given a chance. Why didn't "The Brian Kendrick" make it farther? Probably because he weighed about 175 pounds. We all know WWE loves big guys while smaller guys have a much tougher time being successful.
