This was one of those moments where it became clear, even to John Cena fans, why John Cena isn't necessarily to everyone's taste.

Rey Mysterio waited the better part of five years to get his hands on another world title after his short-lived reign in 2006 was abruptly ended before it really began - but he only held the WWE Championship for a matter of minutes on the 25 July 2011 edition of Monday Night Raw.

After beating The Miz to win the vacant title in a tournament final, Mysterio found himself on double duty when he was challenged by John Cena (the crowd-pleasing baby-face who had no qualms about squaring up with the newly crowned champion before they even had a chance to put a new name-plate on the belt). Ultimately, it was only for a brief nearly moment that we could say that Rey Mysterio was the WWE Champion.
