When Neville arrived on WWE's main roster on the post-WrestleMania Raw in 2015, his legion of fans took the sensible precaution of readying themselves for a gruelling climb up the main event ladder. Instead, it took 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' just a few months before he earned the opportunity to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship.

In August 2015, he challenged then-title-holder Seth Rollins in a pulsating, pay-per-view calibre main event. Whilst Rollins, courtesy of a Pedigree, emerged from the match with the belt still round his waist, the meeting is remembered for one agonising near-fall a few minutes earlier, when the 'Architect' - somehow - got his foot on the ropes to break Neville's pin after a Red Arrow.

It's unfortunate that, to date, the height of Neville's WWE run has gone down as a "nearly moment", but after being lost in the shuffle for so long, the Brit - having recaptured his mojo in the cruiserweight division - is beginning to find his way back to the top.
