This wasn't so much a nearly moment as it was a nearly hour - that being the length of time it took Triple H to pin his opponent after hitting him with a Pedigree.

Joking aside, it's impossible for wrestling fans to look back at the WrestleMania XIX match between 'the Game' and Booker T, and not see a colossal wasted opportunity. The five-time WCW Champion, having been relegated to the status of mid-carder since making the move up north, was at last beginning to matter in WWE when his main event ascent was abruptly cut short in Seattle's Safeco Field.

As 'nearly moments' go, this one was pretty heart-breaking, largely because Booker's opponent spent much of the pre-match build-up making allusions to his seemingly "troubled" past. Hint: the jerk is supposed to get his comeuppance, Vince.
