10 Awesome WWE PPV Names That Should Return

7. Badd Blood

Taking place during the early days of the Attitude Era, Badd Blood was one of the best In Your House subtitles ever used by WWE, putting "Beware Of Dog" and "Revenge Of The Taker" to shame. The first Hell In A Cell Match took place at In Your House: Badd Blood in October of '97, an event/match also famous for the debut of Kane. WWE went back to this title for 2003 and 2004 (sans the In Your House prefix) and shifted the event to June. This name is good enough that it can be put on at anytime throughout the year and doesn't have a name that makes it relevant only to certain months. Obviously, the site of blood is a real taboo for WWE's PG programming today, but the blood spoken of in this title is in a figurative sense and not literally. There's constantly 'bad blood' that exists between WWE superstars so an event with this title is only fitting. The pairing with a Hell In A Cell match that WWE previously booked on events with this name is not necessary in 2016 and the name could simply be used for an off-month B-level PPV, perhaps in December following the Survivor Series. While it's inconsistent at best, the team concept of Survivor Series could lead to bad blood and allow for the fallout to be seen on pay-per-view (or the WWE Network) every December. Regardless of whether it's pegged for December or another month, Badd Blood is an ear-catching, gripping title that's better than half of the names WWE uses for special events today.
