Fully Loaded was another PPV name that was born in the Attitude Era and had more than a hint of some not-so-family-friendly innuendo. Similar to Badd Blood, if WWE just dropped the sexual connotation to the Fully Loaded title altogether and focused on the more straightforward implication of a strong wrestling card, they could use the name for an event. Fully Loaded only took place three times before the July PPV was re-branded Invasion at first, and then Vengeance. But the Fully Loaded events that took place in July of 1998, 99 and 2000 were such strong cards filled with memorable moments and matches that it may often feel like it had a longer stay in the World Wrestling Federation than it actually did. Many fans even felt that Fully Loaded 1999 was the best events of the year and, if not, at least being better than SummerSlam of that year. As has been discussed previously, there's more to a good PPV that just the name. Fully Loaded implies a stacked card that everyone can appreciate, but this event also has the deep history of monumental moments and matches that personified the era. Though it can be used beyond just a focal point of the Attitude Era, the Fully Loaded PPV was one of the most anticipated events of the year from '98 - 2000, which says something. It was only removed to capitalize on the failed Invasion storyline. It would be wise for the company to consider using this event name once again.
