WWE's creative team have a big choice to make when Seth Rollins does make a return. Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Rollins himself are all big stars individually. It was as a collective - The Shield - that they first made their presence felt in the company however, and there's room to bring the faction back in 2016. Reigns was at his most popular when he played the role of the powerhouse in The Shield, and he hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire as a main event babyface since going solo. Similarly, Dean Ambrose seems a little lost in the mix. He's a solid performer who can be relied on for good matches, but WWE don't seem too interested in pushing him ahead of others. At some point in 2016, The Shield reuniting would be a excellent storyline. Perhaps they could be involved in a power struggle angle between Vince McMahon and Triple H, or maybe the trio could reason that they are simply stronger together. There's a chance that Reigns vs. Rollins for the WWE Title will happen in 2016, but that doesn't rule out a Shield comeback later in the same year.
