10 Awful Moves Talented Wrestlers Need To Stop Using

3. Hicaru Shida - Falcon Arrow

Hicaru Shida has one of the more diverse move sets in AEW. She can mix strikes with grappling and then go straight to some mat wrestling. She has great knee strikes and can even utilise her signature kendo stick when needs be. So why does a champion of this calibre have such a weak finisher?

Shida's Falcon Arrow is one of the most lacklustre finishers in the promotion. Not only does it seem like a transitional move, but it also looks incredibly weak. The move isn't like Brian Cage's Drill Claw where he drives the opponent's head into the mat, instead Shida drops them flat on their back and barely hooks the legs after.

The Falcon Arrow can be used to perfection, for example, Seth Rollins combining it with his superplex. Shida needs to add something to this move in order to get it more over and to mean more in the women's division. She is up against opponents who have brutal looking finishers such as the Beast-Bomb and the Lockjaw, so Shida really needs to ditch this manouvre and add something more devastating to her offence.
