10 Awful Moves Talented Wrestlers Need To Stop Using

2. John Morrison - Starship Pain

The Starship Pain is a beautiful move. The athleticism required to pull off the corkscrew splash is just astounding. That being said, the move is terrible. The main issue with the Starship Pain is the lack of connection with the move. It seems as though John Morrison never actually hits the move and instead lands just behind his opponent.

When John Morrison returned in 2019, he also brought the Starship Pain back with him. His return was the perfect opportunity to add a new finisher to his arsenal and discard the Starship Pain for good. Being a parkour genius, Morrison could easily develop a new springboard finisher that looks spectacular but also has a lot of impact.

Morrison has some good moves in his arsenal already. His corkscrew neck-breaker and springboard kick are both brilliant, so why doesn't Morrison use one of these moves as his finisher? He should definitely look for a new finisher in order to spice up his character/matches and leave the Starship Pain behind him.
