10 Bad WWE Pay-Per-Views One Tweak Away From Excellence

2. WrestleMania 25

Why it's bad: Ask Shawn Michaels, because god only knows.

How WWE conspired to make their 25th edition of the 'Show Of Shows' one of the most boring in its history remains confusing in the extreme. Almost every major name from the time was available, several of the programmes going in had heat, and most of the booking was in relatively good faith.

If nothing else, it revealed a darker truth about the John Cena era under the glare of a mammoth spotlight - plenty of guys were getting over, but nowhere near enough of them were over over underneath 'The Champ'.

It fell to two elder statesmen to show everybody how it was done, but even one of WWE's greatest ever matches proved fatalistic on the night

One Tweak: Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker go on last.

Triple H had been in this situation at a WrestleMania back in 2002, but at least he was winning the Championship as a babyface rather than retaining it. 'The Game' and Randy Orton never had good chemistry anyway, but the last thing the putrid pairing needed was to have to follow 'HBK' and 'The Deadman' blow the roof Houston's Reliant Stadium.
