10 Baffling Pieces Of WWE Merchandise
4. Maximum Sweat Action Figures
Kids are fickle beasts, with poor attention spans and an affinity to kick-off big time if their most craziest whim is not satisfied. With that in mind you have to imagine Jakks Pacific listened in on the rambling debates that children were having about their action figures and based their new product on the muffled recordings of the most out-there moments.
How else could you rationally explain the release of the Maximum Sweat line of WWE action figures from the late 1990s? With a hole in the back where the holder of the toy could pour water, these figures would then sweat, or shall we say leak, out of a series of holes around their body.
The figures had a cartoony, oversized look that some argued did little good for WWE's steroid using reputation and after three lines, they were scrapped. I suppose if you wanted, you could customise an existing figure into the Ultimate Warrior, fill the figure with black water and recreate the curse of Papa Shango.
