You can tell which way WWE as an entity and an upper management collective leans politically, what with the historical über-patriotic storylines, approach to worker’s rights, the systemic treatment of marginalised communities and Vince McMahon’s general approach to business ethics. 

It’s easy to work out. 

…right? 

WWE isn’t exactly shy about displaying this, at least historically - Linda McMahon didn’t resign from her role as CEO and fail miserably to pursue her political ambitions as a Liberal - but, when pressed, the company will still insist that they are apolitical. They don’t want to influence people in any way. They just want to put smiles on their faces!

Why, then, did members of the production crew feel the need to drape a KEEP AMERICA GREAT sign over one of the trucks in late 2020?

Imagine being a member of the roster who didn’t share those views? 

And fearing what may happen if they did so out loud?
