10 Banned Segments WWE Had To Censor

Time to group a ton of Triple H headaches under one banner.

Broadcasting on Netflix and raking in millions for the privilege is definitely a huge plus for WWE on the whole. Eyebrows were raised when it was announced that the streaming king planned to pay through the nose for content starting in early-2025, but the working relationship hasn't been without hiccups.

Most of them have come in a concentrated period throughout 2026. Firstly, blood in a steel cage war between ex-Vision pals Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins was blurred/banned at Night Of Champions in June. Further claret on stars like Solo Sikoa has been moderated, and Netflix even took umbrage with Brock Lesnar's t-shirt choice on an episode of Raw.

Some of the violence depicted in heated backstage brawls pitting The Bloodline vs. The 946 has been taken out or censored on shows, and mods wanted to shy away from Jaida Parker running down Jacob Fatu during the build towards her reveal as one of Royce Keys' new soldiers.

This probably won't end well. There are countless reports of Hunter, other members of WWE management and execs at TKO scratching their heads over how picky Netflix has been getting. They've surely been asking questions in meetings about all of this censorship.

Netflix heads may argue that they're paying a ton of money and therefore have a say about what goes on their platform. They're right, they do, but WWE PLEs featuring a bit of blood on and off is nothing new. Didn't Netflix know what they were getting into?
