10 Best & 10 Worst Dressed WWE Superstars Of 2020
4. Best - Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley approaches her look in a similar way to how Io Shirai achieves her success, and that is by capturing a great musical vibe with a focus on simplicity. Ripley has this tremendous heavy metal/punk-infused persona that is fully captured in her gimmick, and although we haven't seen as much of her as we would have liked in 2020, her look still stands as one of the best.
Firstly, the addition of the spikes/studs on her outfits give off this sense of danger and violence, which simultaneously plays into the punkish aesthetic that Ripley strives to deliver. Combining this cool factor and a sense of danger makes her character very clear, and establishes her as a significant threat.
A final note to add is that Ripley is an excellent example of how to make casual wear look like a wrestling outfit. She wears a torn-up t-shirt, and leather trousers that feel like casual punk clothing but completely exaggerated. All great wrestling personas are extensions of the performers but pushed to the max, and as such, the same is done with the clothes that she wears.
