Apart of the Samoan wrestling dynasty and the son of Rocky Johnson, The Rock has wrestling in his blood and he ascended to the top of sports entertainment fastest than almost anyone else. After a football career, Dwayne Johnson decided he wanted to pursuit the pro wrestling in 1995 and a little over a year later he made his WWE debut at the Survivor Series. The infamous goofy hair cut and cartoonish attire soured the audience on Rocky Maivia, but it allowed Dwayne Johnson to find The Rock. After just two years on WWE TV, The Rock won the WWE title and his feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin the following year set pay-per-view records. During his WWE career, The Rock became arguably the most charismatic performer in the history of the business and he reached the top tier of stars, including Austin, Hogan, Flair etc. Just seven years after his debut, The Rock decided to become an actor and has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. However, The Rock returned to the WWE for a few matches in recent years, including two Wrestlemania main events with John Cena, which set PPV records. While The Rock transitioned to a career outside of the WWE, he's undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the history of pro wrestling.
