Kota Ibushi has always been a huge favourite of the fans in New Japan and this has only increased since signing a full-time contract with the company.

As soon as he’s announced for a show, it seems like the fans rush to buy tickets just to get a glimpse of the mystical creature that is Kota Ibushi. His style is a hybrid of Lucha Libre and the Japanese strong style. It never seems like you see him do the same thing more than twice. Your eyes are either glued to the screen or hidden behind a pillow when he’s in the ring because you never know what the Golden Star is going to come up with next.

As well as being immensely talented and charismatic, there is no denying that Kota Ibushi is one handsome man, as Don Callis used to remind us when he was on commentary.
