10 Best Big Men In Wrestling Today
9. Moose
Quinn Ojinnaka spent six years in the NFL, but after being released by the Rams in 2012, he decided to pursue a different passion - pro wrestling. He trained under Curtis Hughes in Atlanta, then went on to debut in Dragon Gate USA in 2014.
Ojinnaka's break came later that year, when he signed with Ring of Honor. Now called Moose, the former offensive tackle started showing immediate improvement, soon developing a skill that belied his experience level. The 6'5", 295-pound star uses a hard-hitting style reminiscent of smaller ROH mainstays like Roderick Strong, but packing a bit more of a punch. He also peppers his offense with breathtaking dropkicks and high-risk maneuvers.
Moose amassed an impressive undefeated streak during his time in ROH, and while it didn't last, his achievements did. He's challenged for titles and had acclaimed matches, including with New Japan stars such as Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii. Moose may have gotten a late start in pro wrestling, but he's certainly made up for it.
