10 Best Booked Wrestlers In WWE Today

5. Sasha Banks & Bayley

One popular fantasy booking scenario for WWE's nascent Women's Tag Team Title scene had Bayley and Sasha Banks putting forth a spirited effort inside the Elimination Chamber, only to fall to the villainous Nia Jax and Tamina. Then, the two Horsewomen would battle back, earn a rematch at WrestleMania 35, and capture the gold in a feelgood moment on wrestling's biggest stage.

A fun storyline, but the one that unfolded in real-life proved more compelling. The Boss & Hug Connection were the right choice for first champions. WWE only had the chance to do this once, and they got it spot on, with the emotion that poured from the two fan favourites after the bell providing immediate justification.

Strapping Bayley and Sasha was a suitable reward for two divisional trendsetters who've been forced to spend much of the past few years on the backburner. Their coming together wasn't perfect, and it went down on the back of what looked like a botched feud set-up, but the past few weeks have been sublime.

For long-time fans who've followed these two since their NXT days, no demotion was as painful as theirs in 2017 and 2018, and few victories will prove sweeter than their Chamber triumph.
