10 Best Booked Wrestlers In WWE Today

4. Becky Lynch

That WWE have been able to maintain Becky Lynch's momentum for so long is remarkable, given the company's myriad long-term storytelling deficiencies.

Lynch became 'The Man' when she turned on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2018. That was over six months ago, yet she's still the hottest thing in the company. This is testament not only to her own work ethic and skill as a performer, but the way the company have crafted their most compelling antihero babyface since 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, who remains their biggest influence when scripting Becky.

Some of the Austin parallels are too on-the-nose to be considered brilliant, and this prevents 'The Man' from finishing higher on the list. Nonetheless, Lynch remains must-see television. She has become WWE's ultimate swaggering badass without sacrificing a drop of likeability, and no other wrestler matches her pops at the moment. It doesn't even matter that she lost cleanly to Asuka at the Royal Rumble, either, as this proved another sharp piece of booking when her triumph in the title women's battle royal drew a thunderous reception.

If Becky goes over at WrestleMania and she'll be a shoo-in for number one on future lists.
